PADEL

Padel is a dynamic and rapidly growing racquet sport that combines elements of tennis and squash. Played on a smaller, enclosed court with glass walls, padel features a unique blend of strategies and skills that make it accessible and exciting for players of all levels.

Court and Equipment: Padel is played on a 10x20 meter court, which is about a third the size of a tennis court. The game uses solid, perforated paddles and a low-compression tennis ball. The walls surrounding the court are integral to gameplay, allowing for a variety of strategic shots and bounces.

GAMEPLAY

The game is typically played in doubles, with teams of two on each side. The objective is to hit the ball over the net and into the opponent's court, scoring points when the ball is not returned successfully. Unlike tennis, padel allows players to use the walls to rebound the ball, adding an extra layer of strategy and excitement.

SCORING

Padel uses the same scoring system as tennis, with games, sets, and matches structured in a similar fashion. Points are scored when the opposing team fails to return the ball within the court’s boundaries or hits it into the wall.

POPULARITY AND APPEAL

Padel's appeal lies in its fast-paced, engaging nature, making it a favorite among both recreational players and competitive athletes. Its relatively simple rules and emphasis on strategy over sheer power make it accessible to newcomers while still offering depth for experienced players.

Whether you're looking to try a new sport or seeking a thrilling addition to your athletic routine, padel offers a fun and challenging experience that's growing in popularity worldwide.
